Art Foundation Course – Intermediate
As a carry on from the Foundation course, students will progress with their studies of drawing and painting, giving them confidence in their own abilities to progress further into becoming a professional artist, encouraging them to exhibit and commission artwork.
The Course:Term 1: (Sept-Dec)
Term 2: (Jan-March)
Term 3: (April-July)
Suggested Materials:
sketch book A3, water colour paper/pad, set of pencils which include 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B; a set of basic watercolours containing the primary and secondary colours, basic set of acrylics, a few brushes from large to small, square/flat to filbert (arrow shape) eraser, sharpener and a pallet on which to mix your paints.
This does not have to be bought all at once but will be discussed in the class. Better to buy good quality but small, than cheap with poor pigments.
