The quality of the work exhibited showed a high standard, credit therefore to both students and tutors who certainly impressed those visiting each of the venues. We decided eventually to recognise the work of individual students whose progress during the year we felt had been significant. In Wendover Betty Baker (Watercolours) and Grace Samuels (Portrait Drawing) both received a small token of our appreciation. Similarly in Thame, Hermione Ward (Portrait Drawing), Nancy Wallace (Watercolours) and Joan Pullen (Acrylics) were all rewarded for their efforts. In Beaconsfield Sara Kelen’s pastel portrait not only won her local recognition but also the award of “artsmart STUDENT OF THE YEAR” - further info on our home page.
