Venue: artsmart Studio Beaconsfield .

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop concentrates on the kind of scenes found along the beach and in harbours. It is intended to work in pen and ink (after a pencil sketch) and we will add a monochrome wash using a water soluble graphite pencil to give tone and shade to the picture. Demonstrations of the techniques required will be given and we shall review our work towards the end of the day.

GENERAL INFORMATION
For this exercise you will need 140lb (or 300gram) ‘NOT Watercolour Paper’ or good quality cartridge paper. A black, grey or brown waterproof pen such as a Faber-Castell artist pen in medium or small size plus the usual watercolour equipment.
