ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

We will explore the beauty of gouache paint with the added dimension of texture; painting simple landscapes of your choice although reference material will be available on the day.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Please bring with you 300gsm watercolour paper, palette, watercolour brushes – minimum ½” flat & 6/8 round & any others you might have. Gouache paint – red, yellow, blue, white, burnt sienna, yellow ochre and alizarin crimson, Acrylic Texture Paste. Along with kitchen roll, water container, pencil, rubber, masking tape. You will need a drawing board, a palette knife (or cut up credit card) and toothbrush, sponge, fork or anything that will make texture.

A member of the Society of Women Artists and the Armed Forces Art Society, exhibiting at the Mall Galleries. Linda was awarded a prize for “Paint a Wildlife Subject” at the Laing Exhibition and the National.
