ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Drawing & Watercolour
Attention to drawing will be key in capturing fine details of the surface, texture, density, light, shade, volume and subtle colour of your fruit. There will be close observational investigation throughout the session.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please bring at least 3 varied soft fruits to enquire, dissect and analyse. A small knife, a fine point to your brush and a magnifying glass would be useful. A smoother water colour paper surface may also be desirable.
About the Tutor: Wendy Lewis
Wendy Lewis studied for her M.A. at the Royal College of Art. She has 22 years senior lecturing experience at B.A level. Working as a professional author and illustrator she has had 42 books published internationally and has won awards, television adaptation and stage play from her children’s book titles.
