Drawing for Beginners & Improvers
Drawing is at the heart of making pictures of things we see. We will use a range of approaches while developing our skills in drawing and observation. Students will work with a variety of tools (pencils, pastel and charcoal, brushes and pens for example) and techniques to develop their skills and aid expression in drawing. We will discuss relevant artists during the course.
Suggested Materials:
Charcoal Sticks – medium or large, Soft Putty Rubber, Sketch Book, Pencils – F, HB, Various B grades, Pencil Sharpener.
For the first session, paper, charcoal and putty rubber are recommended.
The tutor is happy to discuss other equipment and materials and may make additional suggestions.
