Drawing & Watercolour Painting
This course is for students who wish to build upon their existing drawing skills. It provides a supportive place in which you can recap the main principles of drawing and watercolour painting including line, tone, colour mixing, paint application and picture building. There will be reference to other Artists’ work to inspire and encourage ideas.
The course is designed for those who have some previous experience of drawing and painting, it is also suitable for those or returning to art after a break, who would like to refresh their skills.
During the course, the tutor will provide small group demonstrations and individual support to ensure the student can work at their own level and pace.
Suggested Materials:
A4 watercolour pad
HB, 1B pencils
Eraser
Pencil Sharpener
Watercolour paints in pans
Paint brushes – Round, sizes 0, 2, 6, 10
Mixing palette
2 clear water pots (e.g jam jars)
