Drawing & Painting
This is a relaxed course suitable for all levels.
The course is designed to introduce students to approaches to drawing and painting. Sessions will start with a short discussion about the technique being studied, which students will then practice. We will discuss relevant artists during the course.
Suggested Materials:
Charcoal Sticks – medium or large, a soft putty rubber, a sketch book and pencils (HB or F, and various B grades), pencil sharpener.
As a group, we will discuss paint media before deciding which will be the focus of our sessions. Students are welcome to be creative and use a range of other media, options include – acrylics, pastels, or watercolours.
The tutor is happy to discuss other equipment and materials and may make additional suggestions.
