Emma Souter originally studied Art and Design at Central Saint Martins and Fine Art at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, graduating in 2001. She continued study to obtain her teaching qualification and has taught in adult education since 2006; teaching for Buckinghamshire Adult learning, The Manchester College, privately and at training and demonstration events for Daler Rowney UK, where she was Artist in Residence until 2011. Emma has recently returned to University to study for her MA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Oxford Brookes. Her work is currently represented by the Modern Artists Gallery in Berkshire.
