ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
No previous experience necessary. In this workshop we will explore the use of Gouache within watercolour painting. We will be painting flowers on Black paper to showcase the beauty of the medium and also on watercolour paper.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please bring along some flower and landscape reference material, along with the following materials, A4/A3 black cartridge paper, 300gsm watercolour paper, watercolour brushes both ½” flat, round and line brush. Basic gouache paint set to include red, yellow, blue, white, burnt sienna and alizarin crimson, kitchen roll, water container, pencil, rubber, masking tape & board.
About the Tutor: Linda Travers Smith
A member of the Society of Women Artists and the Armed Forces Art Society, exhibiting at the Mall Galleries. Linda was awarded a prize for “Paint a Wildlife Subject” at the Laing Exhibition and the National.
