Course description:

“Summer Landscapes with Acrylic Paint” invites participants to capture the essence of the season’s beauty in a single-day workshop. Through expert guidance, attendees will explore techniques tailored to depict vibrant summer scenes such as sun-kissed meadows and serene lakeshores. Learn to convey the warmth of sunlight, the play of shadows, and the brilliance of nature’s palette using acrylics’ versatile properties. Dive into colour theory, brushwork, and texture application to create dynamic and evocative landscapes. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned artist, this immersive workshop promises to ignite your creativity. By the end of the day you will have produced one painting.

Tools and materials:
Surface: Either acrylic paper, canvas or canvas board or Watercolour paper 140lb ‘Not’ (cold pressed) surface (standard Bockingford is ideal).

1 x ½ inch wide round acrylic or oil painting brush
1 x size 2 or 4 round watercolour brush

Tissues or rag. 2B pencil. Water container. Old shirt to wear when painting. 1 x water receptacle (jam jar or plastic container).
