British Birds with Coloured Pencil

Learn how to draw colourful small birds of Britain such as Finches with coloured pencil on this one day workshop. Using photographs supplied you will be shown how to draw feathers, eyes, beaks and other bird features with layering, colour mixing and blending. No drawing skills are needed as you will be tracing down. Ideal for beginners and students with some knowledge of the medium.

Please bring with you:
Surface: A few sheets or 1 x A4 or equivalent pad of ‘smooth, white drawing paper such as cartridge paper or smooth ‘Hot Pressed’ watercolour paper.
Pencils: A selection or a starter pack of good quality watercolour pencils such as Derwent, Faber Castell. Caran Dache or WH Smith own brand. Watercolour pencils can be used.
Other: 2B pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener.
