Course Description:The Young Artists group is for ages 11 and up and supports the development of drawing and painting skills and the building up of a portfolio of work. We will encourage the talent and artistic vision of each individual as well as challenging participants to reflect on what art can be and wider ideas of creativity. Learn through hands-on practice as well as group discussion that will enable confident and reflective creative exploration through observation, imagination and theory. This is a space where young people can work as part of a supportive group, gaining confidence, building friendships and benefiting from a supportive, artist-led environment.
