Needle felting for beginners
In this fun, one day workshop you will learn how to create a seascape or a landscape using the unique art form of dry needle felting. I must warn you that this technique is addictive!

You will learn about compositions and how to layer and blend the wool to create a tranquil scene and there will be plenty of demonstrations and hands on assistance. Your tutor’s teaching experience allows her to tailor the workshop to your individual needs and ability, which makes this workshop suitable for beginners and people with experience.

The day workshop will allow you time to create 2 pieces. Your tutor will have several images which you can work from, but you might choose to focus for example, on 2 places which are special to you and/or a sunset or a sunrise. The images are just the starting point, as your pieces will naturally develop and change slightly as you work with the felt, so do not worry if you don’t have specific images to work from.

1 shadow box frame of 18 x 18 cm is included in the workshop and additional frames can be bought on the day.
N:B: As this technique is fairly repetitive is it not suitable for people who have back/neck issues
