Originally from Lancashire, Michael Reed trained as an Architect at Manchester University. He has subsequently run his own Architectural Practices in Saudia Arabia and the UK, whilst teaching Design and Professional Practice at Oxford College of Garden Design.
A natural artistic ability has been augmented by art courses in Cornwall and Buckinghamshire.
Michael works with water based mixed media with the emphasis on semi-abstraction. Using and developing experimental technique and effects, looseness of form and highlighting the effects of light and mood, he creates contemporary landscape art with a sense of place.
